3 TOP events in Budapest in 2009
From time to time I check ticket selling websites to bring my list of top events in Budapest up to date. Usually in the winter time not much is changing there but this time I found 3 superb events coming up in 2009 in Budapest. When I say superb I mean it, at least 2 of them are really high class top acts coming to Budapest.
AC/DC is around since ages. Nearly 35 years AC/DC are a band now and performing since than live, released 20 albums, gave thousands of concerts, have fans all over the world and now you have the chance to see them here in Budapest. At least you would have the chance if you are one of the lucky who got a ticket. I mean how stupid can you be let them play in fairly small Papp László Sportarena in Budapest instead of the far bigger Népstadion. Nevertheless on the black market you’ll be able to find one I guess. Bit more expensive but AC/DC is not coming around every day.
I have been on the last Depeche Mode concert in 2006 and it was a blast, a real blast. Nearly 70.000 people in Népstadion rocked the show with Placebo as a supporting act. So I guess that at this concert it will be similar and probably even harder to get tickets as the ones who didn’t get one last time will fight even harder. So be fast and get your ticket.
Well pink is a different category than AC/DC and Depeche Mode but still it is a top event in Budapest in 2009. Pink was probably not even born when AC/DC started to make music but she made her way to the top quite fast and respectful. As well as Depeche Mode Pink was in Budapest already in I think 2006 or 2007 on the T-Mobile free concert at Hero Square. Pink will have her concert as well in Papp László Sportarena so the places are limited.
These 3 conerts will be all sold out and packed with people rocking the house. Don’t miss your chance to see them in 2009. Still I assume there are more top concerts to come for next year, these 3 just opened the season. Don’t miss the chance, be fast!
