The building and athmosphere was good, but I was disappointed by everything else and wouldn't go back there ever. From 1st January 2012 it's prohibited to smoke in closed premises. If people smoke, they will be fined, however nobody gets a penalty during the transition period which is the 1st March 2012. Thinking with common sense it means smoking is already banned but if somebody does smoke he can get away with it just now. In this bar many many people were smoking, making it unbearable to stay there for a non smoker like my friends and myself. It was also too hot inside and no air flow at all, disgusting! There was a sign at the entrance that using the cloak room is compulsory and it costs HUF 200 (about GBP 0.80). Not a big issue, but: - the sign didn't say that people arriving before 8 PM are exempt - we saw many people inside with their jackets. when we asked the security staff about it they were very rude and said "they arrived before 8PM and anyway don't mind other people's business" - we went to the cloak room and my friend asked if she could put her jacket together with her boyfriend's. the answer was "yes but it costs HUF 400". So it means no, then just say no! - you had to pay extra for using the toilet We left after 10 minutes. I went to this bar last week because my friends took me. It is not as cozy as Simpla Kert, therefore perhaps less tourists than in Szimpla Kert and the possibility to dance in the basement. I cant agree with quite similiar to Szimpla Kert.
