Airbnb Apartments are a great accommodation alternative to hotels and on top they are dirt cheap. On average you will pay 15-20€ per person per night which is an unbeatable price for a downtown Budapest accommodation which is clean and comfortable. Many people from Budapest already have discovered Airbnb as a good source to rent out their apartment to tourists on short term or even to students and expats on long term. By now there are far more than 1000 Airbnb apartments in Budapest available ranging from 8€ to 442€ per night with an average of 51€. Over time the selection of classy apartments in Budapest has risen drastically so that its hard to get a good overview of beautiful yet cheap available apartments. Below you can find a little selection which will evolve over time so make sure the check back when looking for great accommodation in Budapest.

Basilica Apartment BudapestBasilica Apartment Budapest
Accommodates: 2
Price per night: 50€
Location: Basilica
In few words: Simple, minimal, central.

These are just 10 out of many beautiful apartments in the Budapest city center but you can even stay cheaper if you decide to stay a bit outside. However these apartments are affordable, beutiful and central in the same time. In case they are booked out or you haven’t found the apartment you like check out:

5 Long term Airbnb Apartments in Budapest under 450€/month

Sometimes it is considered to be expensive to rent an Airbnb apartment on long term. Thinking about prices of 30€ per night you would easily end up with 900€+ per month which is definitely too much. However many apartment owners offer their spaces for a special long term price meaning 1 month of more. Below I picked 5 apartments (entire places, not only rooms) in downtown Budapest which cost under 450€ per month. Of course they are also available for short terms stays! Check them out.

We will be in Budapest April 20-22/23. Would like to stay in the centre, near Danube, market, opera house, etc. we are 2 seniors. Can you recommend an Airbandb?
We would also like to take in a good gypsy show and good Hungarian food. Any suggestions?
We would also like to go from Budapest to Vienna by water and via the Danube Bend. We know it is too early for the hydrofoil, but is there some other water transportation available, like a ferry?
    Thank you!

    Hi Lillian,
I guess for the weekend 5th or 6th district is the best.
The Boat Party will be available in October but only Fridays & Saturdays.
As for nightlife tips have a look at the Top 10 Clubs in Budapest: http://www.budapestagent.com/top-10-clubs-in-budapest.html
    Hope that helps…

We are seniors looking for a quiet furnished flat including full kitchen facilities and washing machine, between 2 to 3 months, summer 2016, in a good area only e.g. near Allee shopping centre, 11 district, and close to transport. We are in Budapest now and would like to view some flats end of August beginning of September.

Good evening! I’m a furure eramsus student in budapest and I am searching for a flat where can I stay on my own. It should have everything that a person needs in a house.I prefer to have a double bed, blinds, heating, washing machine etc. I will stay there from the 1rst September to the 31th January. I’d like to prefer to stay in a quite and safe part of the city. I can spend a max of 500 €/month, fewer costs would be better. Can you please help me?

Can you email me to confirm how much you will charge to rent out a modern 2 bedroom apartment in District 5? I will need to use it for a few days per month, so we would need to agree on some kind of visible schedule. Thank you.
