Budapest Parliament Tour

The Budapest Parliament stands by the Danube, on the Pest side, on the Kossuth square. In Hungarian, the monument is also called Országház (the house of the country). It’s a beautiful white building, covered with limestone. In 1882 they announced a competition for plans about the Parliament building, it was Imre Steindl, teacher of the University of Architecture who won the competition, so the edifice was built according to his plans. The building is of an eclectic style but the neo-Gothic style is predominant. In 1902, when they finished the works, the Hungarian Parliament was the biggest parliamentary building in Europe, nowadays it’s still the biggest building of Hungary. The crowning treasure is placed in the Parliament: except the crowning mantle, all the objects that were used at the crowning ceremony are exhibited here. My daily Budapest sightseeing tour

Sometimes I think about how nice it is to live in a city where other people go on holiday. In the same moment I think about the people living next to the beach, they live where I make holidays. Anyways my daily way to work takes me along the Danube from north to south. No matter if by car or by bike I can see all sights among the Danube and there are some. So today I decided to take my camera with me which I planned all week but today finally I did and took pctures of the biggest sights in Budapest which I see every day. My private daily sightseeing tour in Budapest. As I live in the north part of the city on Pest side the first thing that I can see is Margit island. OK, Margit island is not really a sight but it is the green lung of Budapest. I could even go through Margit island but today I didn’t. The second thing which I…

A Budapest tour is a must since Budapest has so many sights to offer that you hardly can see them all if you stay for a weekend. Even in a week you will only be able to see the major sights and visit some of them to get a better view on the sights. Therefore a Budapest tour is the perfect choice because you get guided through the city, see all sights and all that most of the times from a comfortable seat in a bus.
But there are many ways to explore Budapest and its sights other than the typical bus sightseeing tour. For example you could go on a Segway Tour through Budapest which is a lot of fun but you will not see all sights. Another possibility is the tour by boat which is a very often booked way of discovering Budapest especially in the night to see the lights and buildings of the city in a rather romantic way. So whatever you are up to, an exciting tour or a relaxed and guided tour here you will find whatever you need and whatever you can get.
Lets get it started and have a look at some traditional, typical tours which are booked very often. These are probably the more relaxing tours were you get a lot of information in your language.
