Rammstein Budapest
6.03.10 – Papp Laszlo Arena
Rammstein is most probably the most successful German band outside Germany next to Tokio Hotel and Scooter which is still performing today and now they come for a concert to Budapest again. Rammstein has been in Budapest I think 2007 the last time and even if you don’t like their music you have to admit that their live performance is a blast. I have seen Rammstein live last time they where here and the stage was full of fire, laser, special effects and other show elemets which you won’t see in any other concert.
Last time the concert was 100% sold out after a very short time and it will be the same in 2010 because their seems to be a big Rammstein Fan base here in Hungary and of course in the countries around like Croatia, Slovakia, the Ukraine or Rumania. So be sure to get your ticket as soon as possible.
Rammstein is in music business since 15 years now and they have performed all over the world in the biggest stadiums around the globe. With more than 10 million sold albums you can call them superstars. Their latest album “Liebe ist für alle da” is placed on the German Index by the Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young Persons which makes it actually illeagal to buy in Germany, if you get it because the album is banned from the stores.
So Rammstein is a controversial band which makes them even more attractive than being a well-behaved Rock band from next door. I urge you to get your tickets as soon as possible if you want to see Rammstein in Budapest otherwise you will have to buy them illeagally for a very high price.

Jingle bells!
Every year when it is time for christmas on big squares open up christmas markets. Te flair of a christmas market in Budapest is not as good as in e.g. Germany but it is nice to go there, have a hot wine, something to eat and just enjoy the atmosphere around. You also can do some smaller christmas shopping on most of the markets. Mainly the christmas market is used to get a hot wine, meet with friends and have fun. Here are some good christmas markets in Budapest.

Sziget Festival Budapest
Sziget Festival 2010 – 11. – 16. August – Hajógyári Sziget, Óbuda, Budapest
The Sziget festival is the biggest Rock festival in Europe concerning the number of visitors. The reason for that is that the Sziget festival lasts a complete week and not like many other festivals just a long weekend. The spatiality about the Sziget festival is that it is on an island (Sziget = Island). The island is called Óbudai Sziget and is the biggest island in Budapest. It is bigger than 70 football pitches and is in the northern part of Budapest.
