Amongst the many massive nightclubs and trendy bars in Budapest, you can also find very unique, artsy, hip bars. Fogasház, is one of the many unusual bars, with several decorations that are entertaining on its own. During the warm season, there is also patio seating. If you’re visiting Budapest and want to go out for a few drinks, Fogasház is great way to mingle with the locals. The crowd varies in age, with a relatively young feel to it around 18-28, but every age is welcomed!

Fogasház is unique for several reasons, one being that its English translation means, House of teeth. Its great name is derived from a 100-year-old sign found during the initial renovation that read Denture repair. The bar underwent some reconstruction, since it used to be a functioning hub for art and artist. In 2010, the interior was redone and a true-ruin pub pioneer emerged. The prices are a great deal, and there’s even a dance floor for those who want to enjoy some music and do some dancing.

Since the concept of this place has been redone it is known as a fashionably, innovated place to enjoy a night out with friends or to go and make new friends! Another plus to the great location is the margarita pizza, for those that might get hungry after some dancing or who just enjoy delicious pizza. It offers Lunch, Dinner, coffee and of course cocktails. They take reservations and walks-ins are welcomed. It is opened all year round, everyday, from 4pm to 4am, giving ample time to arrive, at Akácfa Street’s hot spot Fogasház.
