Most of the thermal bath are coed, but some pool offers gender privacy, allowing for only men or women. The water is composed of several natural minerals- calcium, sulphate-chloride, hydrogen-carbonate, fluoride ions and sodium, just to name a few. Gellért hill houses the rich spring water.
Along with the fun and tranquility the bath offers, it is also believed to therapeutically help with certain conditions such as arthritis, blood circulation, degenerative illnesses of joints and vertebral spine. The inhalator also is said to help treat asthmatic and chronic bronchitis complaints .

The entrance fee of the Gellért bath is quiet high as it it one of the best known baths in Budapest but it is worth the money because the ambiance and the building is just amazing.
