If you search for a hotel in Hungary or a hotel in Budapest the difference is not too big. To find a hotel in Hungary is not a difficult task but what about quality and service. It is well known that the service sector in Hungary is lacking. Of course if you go to a 4 star or above hotel in Hungary you can be sure to get decent service. But what about the classes below? In general you can say that take away a star and you are where you expect to land. A three star hotel in Hungary is by far not the same as in France, Germany or in the UK. Nevertheless there are a lot of good quality hotels and I might be a bit wrong with my negative thinking about the service sector and the stars of hotels in Hungary but I can tell only from my own experience. Hotel i Budapest for example praise their stars and offer nothing but of course not all of them.
So if you decide to stay in Hungary or Budapest for a while select your hotel well because this is where you sleep, this is what can make your vacation a horror trip. The hotels you can find on Budapestagent.com are good and have quality standards but of course I couldn’t tests them all. So some reviews are from me others from people around the world. The rest I leave open and give the responsibility to the agency.
