Hungary No. 133 on corruption index

Transperancy International has released the 2008 Corruption Perception Index (CPI) and Hungary is on place 133 of the most corrupt countries out of 180 on earth. This means that basically Hungary is not too corrupt and ranging just a bit behind Western European states such as Germany, the UK or Spain. Honestly I thought that Hungary is ranking worse.

The top non corrupt countries are Denmark, New Zealand, Sweden, Singapore and Finland whereas the corruptest countries in the world are Somalia, Myanmar, Iraq, Haiti and Afghanistan. I guess in these countries you can buy anything with money and get everything on the illeagal way.

Have your say!

What are you thinking about Hungary No. 133 on corruption index?
