Népstadion in Budapest
Now called Ferenc Puskas Stadium!
Népstadion in Budapest or as it is called now the Ferenc Puskás Stadium is the biggest venue in Budapest. With more than 68.000 all seated places only the big names and spot events fill this stadium. Népstadion is in the center of Budapest right behind Keleti pályudvar (Eastern Railway station) and is easy to reach by bus, tramp or Metro. Népstadion Budapest is the national stadium of Hungary and does not belong to a football club. The last time a football match was in Népstadion was the benefit game for Puskas Ferenc. In 2006 two major concerts took place in Népstadion. Depeche Mode at 16th of June and Robbie Williams at 19th of July filled the stadium to the last seat.
