Swimming is one of the most popular sports in Hungary and therefore you will find swimming pools in nearly any corner of Budapest. But not only swimming also water polo is very popular thus really every district has at least one swimming pool which of course is open to the public as well.

Most people in summertime go to one of the two swimming pools on Margit Island which is totally crowded in the hot months of the year but also fantastic since you are on the island, swimming, having fun. Check out some pools in Budapest.
