Urimuri is one of the new nightlife hotspots in Budapest downtown located extremely central on Andrássy út near Déak Ferenc tér. Yet another ruin bar you might think but Urimuri is kept extremely simple unlike many other ruin bars in Budapest without any fancy design elements on the wall or ceiling it is all about the music, the drinks and the people. For 10 in the evening until late night you will get decent house music on your ears and superb drinks served to get you in the party mood. Party won’t start here at least until midnight so don’t show up too early but keep it like with most trending clubs in Budapest such as Trafiq or Ötkert to not arrive in the rush hour which starts around midnight when the queue is horrible long.
The prices in Urimuri are a bit above average but seeing the location in the city center I think they are fair. Most consumed drinks are the trending Aperol Spritz and Hugo which both come around 1.500 HUF (~6€) as well as wine in all sizes and colors. Also available for the little hunger in between are the so called Toastilla a mix of toast and tortilla for roughly 800 HUF.
Urimuri in Budapest is trending at the moment for a reason, if you like to party with good music and decent drinks this is your place to go these days. The location is absolutely stunning in one of them old buildings’ courtyard it is absolutely wicked in the summer period but also in winter when a temporary roof is covering the inner courtyard. By the way if you arrive early in winter don’t worry if you feel a bit cold by midnight latest you will be all heated up and drop your clothes one after the other.
Don’t miss our brand new bar and club right next to BALDASZTI’S GRAND at Andrássy avenue 8. The venue got its name from a famous Hungarian novel in which gentries are partying for four days. The building is glamorous, full of with old paintings on the wall and plants all over the balconies. The legendary ruin pub culture of Budapest, the Andrassy avenue and the downtown mood crosses here. Good spirit, fantastic people, great electronic music (nu-disco, deep-house, vocal house, underground-pop) and drinks are the earmarks of this place.
